The History of Weelsby Hall
Weelsby Hall is one of the grandest Victorian buildings in North East Lincolnshire. The Grade II listed hall is set in beautiful grounds and has a rich history connected to North East Lincolnshire’s fishing heritage; it was commissioned in 1890 by George Frederick Sleight, a member of the North East Lincolnshire’s ‘fishocracy’.
Linkage at Weelsby Hall
Linkage Community Trust has been custodian of Weelsby Hall for over 40 years, throughout this time the buildings have been used to serve the needs of people with learning disabilities and autism. The site has provided a strong sense of place for the Linkage Community in Grimsby.
