If your business selects us as your charity of the year, our experienced development and fundraising team would work with you to develop a bespoke calendar of fundraising, engagement activities, making the most of tax benefits for donations and charity events.
We will take the time to get to know your corporate partners, so that we understand your business objectives. We recognise that a partnership is a two-way street, and would create partnerships based on shared aims.
Adoption of our charity will most definitely support your Corporate Social Responsibility.
In return of adoption we could offer cause-related marketing and volunteering opportunities for your employees
A sales promotion or cause related marketing campaign with us can help:
drive and increase sales; market your brand to new markets and audiences and re-engage existing customers; provide positive press and PR coverage; increase customer loyalty; ’emotionalise’ your brand via your commitment to improving opportunities and experiences for people with learning disabilities and successfully deliver your community investment goals.
Employee volunteering will help to improve: team building and communication skills; your local and national profile; add an exciting dimension to staff development, engagement, motivation and inspiration; show case your commitment to meaningful community engagement; make a genuine impact on the lives of people with learning disabilities.
Your company could set up a Payroll Giving scheme, allowing your employees to donate to us regularly from their salaries.
Payroll Giving is a flexible scheme which allows anyone who pays UK income tax to give regularly and on a tax free basis to the charities and good causes of their choice. Payroll Giving donations are deducted before tax so each £1.00 you give will only cost you 80p, and if you’re a higher rate tax payer it will only cost you 60p. Payroll Giving (workplace giving) is a valuable, long term source of revenue, providing regular income to help charities budget and plan ahead more effectively. Employees can choose to support any charity of their choice (but hopefully Linkage will be their charity of Choice!) with a regular donation direct from their pay.
It’s cheaper because it is tax free – for example, a donation of £5 per month costs the basic rate tax payer £4. HMRC pay the remainder. For higher-rate taxpayers it is the only way to directly pass on your 40% or 50% tax to charities. Only 28% can be recouped via other ways of giving.
Linkage is always happy to tailor sponsorship opportunities to the changing needs of our funders, and we are eager to explore new and innovative ways to partner with businesses in the fight to move learning disabled people from dependence to independence. We organise a variety of events throughout the year with opportunities for corporate participation. Linkage believes that so much more much can be achieved in our work through strategic partnerships with our corporate friends.
We offer support for any number of sporting events and challenges which you and your staff could participate in and would support any team events that your employees wanted to organise themselves.
