You can apply and join Linkage College at any time throughout the academic year.
How to apply
Step one – Contact Us
Get in touch and our expert Transitions team will be on hand to:
- talk through your needs, provide information and answer any questions you may have,
- arrange for you to explore one of our campuses, to connect with staff and students, and discover what Linkage College is like, and
- take some basic information to get the application process started.
Step two – visit us

Step three – apply
When you’re ready to apply, our Transitions team will provide you with our application form to fill in. It will cover your specific needs to help us support you in the best ways possible.
If you’re unsure or need any guidance, our Transitions team will be happy to help.
Step four – the assessment
Within two weeks of receiving your application form you’ll be invited to come into college for a couple of days, to join in with some classes and see first-hand what it’s like to be a Linkage College student.
This is an opportunity for us to assess the best ways we can support you and help us put together your bespoke study plan.
Step five – the offer
Following your assessment, we’ll look in detail at your needs and help you to secure funding. A formal offer will be made in writing within two weeks of your assessment.
Step six – start!
Once you accept your offer and your funding is confirmed, you’re officially a Linkage College student and ready to start.
