Part time lecturing hours available in the following curriculum area:
Toynton – English & Maths
(Fixed term/term time only) Approx 15 hours. Hours are negotiable. £12 per hour
Due to an increase in learners accessing our colleges, we are seeking to recruit imaginative, well organised and effective lecturers to these posts.
The successful candidates will show the enthusiasm needed to fulfil the post requirements, have good communication and interpersonal skills, and a good knowledge of teaching and learning. Ideally, you will have experience delivering a range of qualification levels from Entry Level 1 to Level 2.
The successful candidates will also be familiar with a range of assessment processes used within Awarding Organisations. Experience of teaching learners of differing abilities from Entry Level 1 – Level 2 and GCSE is desirable and applicants must hold or be willing to work towards a recognised teaching qualification and other qualifications appropriate to the curriculum area. The ability to make pro-active contributions to the development of these key curriculum areas is also desirable. All Lecturers should have a minimum of a Level 3 qualification within their subject area.
