Community Support Worker
Due to continued growth, we have a 25 hour Community Support Worker role available . This role is required to cover days, evenings, waking nights and weekends, working an average of 25 hours per week on a shift pattern.
Candidates will need to be flexible to support the requirements of the service.
We are looking for people like you to work with our clients in respite care, who have a range of learning and other disabilities. You will be providing personal care, and supporting our clients to take part in a wide range of activities, including domestic tasks, shopping trips, leisure activities and social occasions.
Our Clients, as do all people, deserve the right to be treated with dignity and respect. Although previous experience would be an advantage, we welcome and value applications from people who identify with this statement and have life skills and a genuine desire to make a difference in other people’s lives.
Although previous experience of working with adults with learning difficulties and disabilities is desirable, it is not essential as we will provide full training and support to complete a Care Certificate. Additional FREE in-house training is provided to ensure person-centred services that enable individuals to develop skills and behaviours to live independent lives.
