Supporting adults with learning disabilities to gain internships, work experience and paid employment in Lincolnshire.
Supporting greater independence and employability can be life transforming for those with learning disabilities. The Linkage Supported Employment Service has supported many adults aged between 18 and 65, with a variety of learning disabilities and needs, to achieve their employment and independence aspirations.
Whatever support clients require to access the world of work, we take time to understand their individual strengths and development needs, and then build a personalised package that provides pathways to employment opportunities, whether that be through employability skills training, help finding work, one-to-one in work support, or job coaching.
We can’t promise access to paid work immediately, however our unique service has been extremely successful in broadening the employment horizons of our clients. We have access to over 100 employers, spanning horticulture, catering, retail, office/admin work, cleaning and care. These partnerships have been nurtured over many years, boosting the chances of individuals successfully securing and retaining paid employment.
As part of the supported employment service we provide clients with:
A year round, seven day a week service
Employability skills training
CV and interview support
Help finding work, both voluntary and paid
Job coaching/one-to-one in- work support
Work experience, working interviews and internships
Help with transition from post-16 provision
