Today Linkage had a particularly excellent start to the day when Chair of Lincoln Business Club, Zoe Easey of Epix Media, presented a cheque for £400 to Valerie Waby, Linkage CEO, at Sincil Bank Stadium, Lincoln.
Lincoln Business Club is a not-for-profit networking group open to all local businesses within a 30 mile radius of Lincoln who want to network with like-minded people whilst supporting and influencing the Lincoln Business Community.
Running since 2004, the club was founded by local business people including the then Chairman of Lincoln City Football Club Steff Wright, local architect Rob Bradley and local councillor Edward Strengiel. The group decided the City needed an inexpensive and relaxed forum for local business people to meet.
Lincoln Business Club now meets on the last Friday of every month, providing the chance to network with 50+ businesses and a forum to discuss issues affecting local organisations. Membership is free, meetings start at 7am and finish at 9am and admission costs just £4.00 payable on the door.
Being not-for-profit and believing in giving back to charity, the club supports local charities, donating their profits to local good causes twice a year. Recipients of the charity donations are voted for by members so we are delighted that Linkage has been chosen this time around.
A BIG thank you to the Lincoln Business Club for their support!
