Friends of Weelsby Hall

Weelsby Hall in Grimsby.

We’re looking for friendly and enthusiastic volunteers to help us with a Friends of Weelsby Hall group.

The group will support community activities at this historically important site on our Grimsby campus. We need help to plan and deliver activities to raise awareness of this hidden gem and generate funds to secure its future, whilst also making a real difference to the services we can provide, the people we support and the local community.

No formal experience is needed, as necessary training will be given, although we are keen to hear of any relevant skills you may have.

As well as induction and any necessary training, we’ll give you opportunities to:

  • Utilise existing skills and develop new skills.
  • Take part in enjoyable and rewarding activities.
  • Meet new people and work as part of a dedicated and motivated team of volunteers.
  • Help us to protect a local heritage asset.
  • Develop opportunities for the local community to explore and enjoy the site.

We’re looking for people who:

  • Are trustworthy and reliable.
  • Have good communication and team working skills.
  • Are 18 or over.
  • Will keep up to date with the work of Linkage
  • Represent the charity in a professional manner.
