Linkage wins Customer Service Award!

Linkage received a Customer Service Award at an event held on Saturday 13 March at the Embassy Theatre in Skegness.

The first annual East Lindsey Community Awards evening was held by East Lindsey District Council and South East Target Series to recognise those unsung community heroes who have made a difference to the area and to the lives of local people.

Linkage was chosen as the winner of the award, which was sponsored by Lincolnshire Regional College, for giving that little bit extra when helping members of the public and making their lives a little bit easier.

The award was received on behalf of the Trust by Naj Modak, Linkage's media relations and communications manager. Naj said,"we were proud to be nominated and then to find out we had been shortlisted to the top three was fantastic. The staff at Linkage work so hard and are proud of the difference they make to the lives of people with learning difficulties and other disabilities. Sometimes, it's easy to take our dreams for granted. People with learning disabilities also have dreams and it's the work that Linkage does, whether through its specialist education provision or its care and employment services that makes the extra bit of difference to the lives of those young people.

"There were some great organisations nominated for the award. Well done to them too! We're so proud that the hard work at Linkage was recognised".
