The new Linkage Campus at Lincoln moved into the first phase of its development with an official ground breaking ceremony held in Boultham Park on 21st October 2016.

The Boultham Park Restoration Project, run by Linkage and the City of Lincoln Council, brings a new education centre and cafe, as well as a host of other improvements.

A host of supporters, local business people, Linkage Community Trust staff, City of Lincoln Council staff, local community and volunteers turned out on the day to celebrate the event.

The Mayor of Lincoln, Councillor Yvonne Bodger (shown below), cut the turf with help from local school children who had won a competition to help start the historic project.

Martin Shelton, Principal at Linkage College said: “We are very excited to see the initial works starting on this fantastic site. Our first Open Day for prospective students will be in November and it will be great to be able to show them that work has already begun.”
