About Linkage Resources

The Resource Department within Linkage has three main elements.  These are Business Services, Information Technology and The Estates Department.  Our main focus is to ensure our three core activities Education, Care and Employment are able to concentrate entirely on their specific areas, whilst the support services of HR, Finance and Resources ensure all other factors are dealt with in such a manner so can support every individual student and other service users to achieve their full potential. These support services are also in place to enable staff to concentrate on their work with students and other service users knowing that the infrastructure at Linkage is being dealt with by others.

Business Services

The Business Services team has staff based at Toynton, Weelsby and Scremby Grange.  These staff deal with matters such as maintenance, insurance, catering and domestic arrangements, as well as purchasing equipment for each site.  In addition to the aforementioned, they have also have a responsibility to manage all of Linkages vehicles which currently totals over 50.  These include 15 seater minibuses, 7 seater people carriers, estates and saloon cars.  Another of their duties is that of refurbishment programmes to our Residential Care Homes.  To comply and exceed minimum requirements, upgrades such as en-suite accommodation and single room provision together with additional safety features are just some of the tasks for which the business team are responsible for.
