The Art course at Linkage College aims to provide the learners with the opportunity to explore and develop their artistic abilities in a variety of different art disciplines. The course also aims to provide the learners with the opportunity to practice develop and achieve their Skills for Life objectives.

Communication is a key focus, with the curriculum placing an emphasis on creative and verbal dialogue, whilst also providing an opportunity for experiential learning.

The work displayed below is a result of students using the work of Gustav Klimt and Henri Matisse as a starting point. Students used a variety of media to produce their work, for example, chalk pastels, oil pastels pencils and paints. Some of the students embellished their work using gems and glitter glue.
