Linkage
where the
PEOPLE
shine through About Linkage Care Services
|
Our emphasis is on enabling service
users to maximise their independence and to become integrated within the
local community in their recreational and leisure activities. |
|
A range of vocational opportunities are
offered in the specially equipped day centre, industrial training unit
and in the local community. Where appropriate, service users may also
be placed in local industry on work experience placements.
Linkage Care Services has a team of
experienced care staff and instructors who are supported by professional
and specialist staff, including a Chartered Educational Psychologist, a
Consultant Psychiatrist, speech and language therapists, Makaton and BSL
trained staff, nursing staff and qualified social workers.

Linkage Care Services consists of
fourteen residential care homes and six supported-living training flats
in the towns of Spilsby, Louth, Grimsby, Mablethorpe and Alford in
Lincolnshire and North East Lincolnshire.
Accommodation is available for service
users who may wish to ‘move on’ to increasingly independent
accommodation, with ongoing support from Linkage.
Care Managers, approved by the
Registration Authorities, are appointed to the houses and, together with
care staff, ensure 24-hour supervision and support. |
